Mercedes Bourgaize - REALTOR®
Before immigrating to Canada in 1989, I worked as a Binational Officer at the American Embassy in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which involved extensive travel in the US. I lived in North Vancouver for many years, and over time, purchased and sold various properties with my husband. After a rewarding career as a law librarian, at the largest labour and employment law firm in Western Canada, my husband and I took early retirement and lived in Costa Rica for 3 years, where we bought and sold real estate. As a professional realtor and as a seasoned buyer/seller, my experience can be your asset.
As well as being a licensed REALTOR®, I have a Bachelor's degree in English translation from the University of Brasilia, Brazil, a Paralegal Diploma from Capilano University, British Columbia, and a Master's degree in Library and Information Science from the University of British Columbia. A professional English/Portuguese translator since 1990, I am also fluent in Spanish. My interests are many and varied, some of which my clients are likely to share. Gardening is one, cooking is another, and you may or may not be surprised to hear, I love buying and selling homes.
